Property Review
The Toronto District School Board (TDSB) is reviewing the land it owns at 2245 Lawrence Avenue West for sale. This land is under a long-term lease to Schlegel Villages, a company that builds and operates retirement and long-term care communities. Schlegel Villages has redeveloped the land into a retirement and long-term care facility called the Village of Humber Heights. Schlegel Villages has expressed interest in purchasing the land. They have indicated that it is for continued use as the retirement and long-term care facility.
