Elementary Summer School 2024

Summer School 2024

The focus of the 2024 Elementary Literacy and Numeracy Summer School Program is to continue student engagement through July. The local summer school principal develops programs focused on Literacy and Numeracy priorities and aligned with the school's specific focus

Programs are offered in-person to students in K to Grade 8, from July 2 to July 26, 2024. This year, one remote program will also be available for Grades 4 to 8.

Registration Information

  • Program Dates - July 2 to July 26, 2024, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
  • Registration is online. To fill out an application, please click on the registration form link for the school below.
  • The remote (online) program is NOT associated with a particular school. Students who are registered will be grouped by grade and assigned an online teacher.

Afternoon Jays Camp RBI Summer Edition

RBI Summer Edition is a free afternoon baseball-for-development program for Grades 3 to 8 hosted at 14 elementary schools. Throughout July, students registered for half-day summer school can opt to join the RBI Summer Edition program for the afternoon.

In the afternoon, students will engage in a wide range of recreational activities including cooperative games, arts and crafts, team-building, and inclusive baseball training. Throughout July, the program runs from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm, with the opportunity to extend to 5:30 pm for aftercare. After TDSB summer school ends, students can register for a full-day program from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm during the first two weeks of August. Please note – students will be required to provide their lunch.

Note: Jays Camp RBI Summer Edition is a distinct and separate program from the Elementary Summer School at the Toronto District School Board (TDSB). This unique camp is proudly run by the Jays Care Foundation. These programs operate independently of each other, and registration for one does not imply enrollment in the other. We encourage everyone to review the specific details, procedures, and policies for both programs in the registration requirements before enrollment.

Please note that limited spaces are available for all programs.

Non-TDSB students will need to provide their own digital devices.
