Downtown: City Adult Learning Centre (CALC)

Yorkdale: Yorkdale Adult Secondary School

Etobicoke: Burnhamthorpe Adult Learning Centre

North Etobicoke: Emery Adult Learning Centre

Scarborough: Scarborough Centre for Alternative Studies (SCAS)

Our academic year is divided into four quadmesters. You can start your studies at the beginning of any term:

Fall - Quad 1: September – November

Winter 1 - Quad 2: November – February

Winter 2 - Quad 3: February – April

Spring - Quad 4: April – June

Application Fee: $400 CAD (Non-refundable, one-time fee)

Tuition Per 2 Credits (1 Quad): $4,250 CAD (Includes materials fees)

Tuition Per 4 Credits (2 Quads): $8,500 CAD (Includes materials fees)

Full Year Option (8 Credits): $17,000 CAD

Note: Students may take up to 3 credits per semester (2 credits are recommended).

Applying for adult (18+) programs is now completed fully online through our TrueNorth Application Portal. Follow the steps below to submit your application:

Step 1: Access the Portal

Click the button below to access the TrueNorth Application Portal.

Step 2: Select the Adult Program

Once inside the portal, scroll down to the Adult High School Credit - Pathways to Success section and click Apply for Adult High School Credit - Pathways to Success under your preferred start term.

Step 3: Upload Documents & Complete Application

Fill out your application details online and upload digital copies (PDF or clear image) of required documents:

• Passport (picture/bio page)
• Previous School Transcripts

Step 4: Pay Application Fee & Submit

Pay the non-refundable $400 International Registration Fee securely within the portal via Flywire, then submit your application.

1. Application Review: Our admissions team will review your application and uploaded documents.
2. Conditional Acceptance & Invoice: Once approved, your Conditional Letter of Acceptance and tuition invoice will be posted to your TrueNorth portal account.
3. Tuition Payment: Pay your tuition fees directly in your portal account via integrated Flywire.
4. Official Letter of Acceptance: Upon payment confirmation, your Official Letter of Acceptance will be issued in the portal.
