Toronto District School Board

Facility Construction, Maintenance and Operations

The TDSB keeps a list of approved, pre-qualified contractors that are called on to provide construction related services for projects under $1.75M or for additions less than 500 sq ft of new floor area, following a competitive bidding process. Contractors who want to be included on the list are required to complete and submit a Contractor's Pre-Qualification Questionnaire.

Following applications and at the request of the contractor, PDS provides written confirmation that the supplier is on the pre-qualified list, or indicates the qualification criteria that has not been met by the applicant.

Projects over $1.75M or greater than 500 sq ft of new floor area are posted on www.bidsandtenders.ca to pre-qualify and short list contractors in accordance with the tendering process.

As of September 7th, 2017 the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) will be transitioning to a new electronic tendering (eTendering) solution bids&tenders powered by eSolutions. These services include access to TDSB open procurement opportunities such as requests for tenders and proposals for goods and services. For more information, please the attached Announcement to Vendors.
