2026 Summer International Languages Elementary & African Heritage Program

When: July 6 to July 30, 2026 (Monday to Friday).
Who: Senior Kindergarten (as of Sept 2026) to Grade 8 (TDSB and non-TDSB students).
Cost: $20 (for materials fee).

Please note that a minimum of 25 students is required to open a class.

Registration Requirements:
Ontario Education Number (OEN) and OHIP card is required at the time of registration. (OEN can be found at the top of your child’s report card).

International Languages Elementary

The International Languages Elementary summer program combines language & culture learning with engaging activities such as games, songs, dance, storytelling, and writing. No language background is necessary. Afternoon cultural programs, run by community groups, are also available at the sites indicated in the list below.

Time:

• 9:00 am to 11:30 am - Language program offered by TDSB*
• 11:30 am to 4:00 pm – non-TDSB optional programming offered by community groups (in select locations).

Additional languages may be offered if a minimum of 25 students are enrolled.

African Heritage Program

The African Heritage summer program connects students to the contributions, histories, legacies, cultures, and traditions of people of African descent through inquiry and experiential learning.

Location: Charles E Webster Public School
Time: 12 pm to 2:30 pm – African Heritage class.
