International Languages - Elementary and African Heritage

International Languages – Elementary (ILE)

In an increasingly globalized world, it is important to set our students on the path to being active global citizens. The TDSB provides International Languages to JK to Grade 8 students. No background knowledge is necessary.

African Heritage (AH)

In our African Heritage program, JK to Grade 8 students will learn about Black culture and contributions of people of African descent.

OTTA Celebration – January 2022

This event was organized by Ontario Tamil Teacher’s Association who are made up of TDSB Tamil language instructors. Students below perform to celebrate Tamil Heritage Month and specifically Thai Pongal. Thai Pongal is a harvest festival celebrated in India and Sri Lanka.
