International Languages - Elementary and African Heritage

International Languages – Elementary (ILE)

In an increasingly globalized world, it is important to set our students on the path to being active global citizens. The TDSB provides International Languages to JK to Grade 8 students. No background knowledge is necessary.

African Heritage (AH)

In our African Heritage program, JK to Grade 8 students will learn about Black culture and contributions of people of African descent.

Congratulations to students in our elementary and secondary International Languages classes for winning the '50 Reasons to Learn and Love German Contest'! To celebrate 50 years of the Ontario Association Teachers of German (www.oatg.org), students were asked to submit any original design, photo, artwork, drawing, or image with accompanying text which gives one or more great reason(s) to learn and love the German language!
