2023 Summer International Languages Elementary & African Heritage Program (In-person)

When: July 4 to July 28, 2023 (Monday to Friday)
Who: Senior Kindergarten (as of Sept 2023) to Grade 8 students (TDSB and non-TDSB students)
Cost: $20 (for materials fee)

Registration Requirements:

Ontario Education Number (OEN) and OHIP card is required. (OEN can be found at the top of your child’s report card).

African Heritage Program

The African Heritage Summer Program connects students to the contributions, histories, legacies, cultures and traditions of people of African descent through inquiry and experiential learning.

International Languages Elementary

International Languages Elementary Summer Programs combine language & culture learning with engaging activities like games, songs, dance, storytelling, and writing. No language background knowledge is necessary. Afternoon cultural programs, run by community groups, are also available at a number of our sites.

• 9:00 am to 11:30 am - Language program offered by TDSB*
• 11:30 am to 4:00 pm – non TDSB programming offered by community groups (in some locations).

*Other languages may be offered as long as a minimum of 23 students are enrolled.
