Online registration for Winter semester night school will be open on Monday, January 5, 2015. All classes begin the week of February 9th, 2015.

Night School

The TDSB offers a wide range of high school credits at night, in locations across the city.

How do night school semesters work?  Credit courses run two nights per week, for 15 weeks, during the fall and winter semesters. Fall begins in September. Winter begins in February.

You will need the following information:

  • A valid transcript/credit counselling summary showing prerequisite earned.
  • Your 9 digit OEN (Ontario Education Number - your OEN is printed on all report cards and transcripts issued to students who attended school in Ontario, including night school, effective 2004).

Important: you must register using your name as it appears on your transcript.

Online registration is a two-stage process. Click on the first link to create a registration account. Your registration account remains available for you to use for upcoming night school and summer school sessions.

TDSB students who attempt to request courses using the external link will not be accepted.

Adults new to Ontario and adults who attended school in Ontario prior to 2004

You will need to register in person between 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm at one of the following night school locations:

Monday/Wednesday evenings:   

     Albert Campbell CI, City Adult Learning Centre

Tuesday/Thursday evenings:

     Birchmount Park CI, CW Jefferys CI, Central Technical School

PLEASE BE SURE TO BRING THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS WITH YOU:

  1. Transcript, report cards or other education documents 
  2. Proof of citizenship (birth certificate, passport, citizenship card), permanent residency, or other Canadian residency status (refugee claimant, work permit)

Note:  A fee of $1,750 applies for applicants to all applicants with a work permit.  This non-refundable fee is payable at time of registration.   A certified cheque or money order, payable to the Toronto District School Board, must be submitted with the registration form.

Fall Semester

All classes begin the week of September 29.

Last day of term: Monday, January 26, 2015

Winter Semester

All classes begin the week of February 9, 2015
Online registration opens January 5, 2015
Online registration closes at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 30, 2015
Last class: Thursday, May 28, 2015 (Tuesday/Thursday locations) Monday, June 8, 2015 (Monday/Wednesday locations)

Time All night school credit courses run from 6:30-9:30 p.m.
