Google Translate Limitations Disclaimer

The electronic translation service on the Toronto District School Board website is hosted by Google Translate, a third party service. The TDSB does not guarantee or warrant the reliability, accuracy or completeness of any translated information.

The quality of the translation will vary in some of the languages offered by Google. Google Translate is a free service and currently offers translation in over 100 languages, but does not capture all languages or dialects.

The basic translation goal is to capture the general intention of the original English material. Before you act on translated information, we encourage you to confirm any facts that are important to you or may affect any decisions you make.

The Toronto District School Board is committed to equity and community engagement, and by providing this tool, we are making our information more accessible to families whose first language is not English.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE:
As a result of the current situation and the closure of schools until the end of April, all Learn4Life classes for the spring term have been cancelled. Refunds for fees paid by credit card will be processed automatically back to the credit card that was used to register. Fees paid by cheque or cash will be refunded by cheque after Continuing Education staff acknowledges clearance of the cheque. Please allow 4-6 weeks for processing. Make up classes for the winter term will be credited to your TDSB Community Programs account and can be used for future registration. As we continue to have no access to telephones, please email communityprograms@tdsb.on.ca if you have any questions.

TDSB has served adults in Toronto for more than 160 years. Today, nearly 30,000 adult learners join 1700 general interest classes to take up a hobby, learn a skill and to meet people in their communities.

Program Accommodation

We strive to meet the accommodation needs of persons with disabilities. Registrants are encouraged to make their needs for accommodation known in advance of commencing a Learn4Life class. If you require accommodation, including arrangements related to a fire safety plan, please contact the Continuing Education Office at 416.338.4111.

Call 416.338.4111 and register with an agent. Have your VISA or MasterCard ready. Office hours are 8:30 am - 4:00 pm.

Visit us at the Continuing Education Office, 2 Trethewey Drive, 3rd Floor,Toronto, Ontario, M6M 4A8. Payment can be made by credit card, cash, cheque or money order. Office hours are 8:30 am - 4:00 pm.

Please Note

A minimum number of registrants is required to open a class. The Toronto District School Board has the right to make the final decision to open or close a class or to revise the fee structure.
