Intensive Support Programs are located within Families of Schools and are staffed by central resources. These programs provide more intensive support than the Community-Based Resource Model in local Schools. The number and location of all Intensive Support Programs is reviewed on an annual basis.
Placements in Intensive Support Programs, with the exception of the Kindergarten Early Language Intervention (KELI) Program, are through an IPRC or SEPRC and are offered at the nearest location, according to exceptionality and student profile, and based on availability.
The types of programs are listed below. More information around each program can be found in the Special Education Plan.
