Currently, our office is situated at 15 Oakburn Crescent. Last winter, the TDSB approved a plan to repurpose the Oakburn Centre to accommodate a new Avondale school at this site. As a result, the Permit Unit is relocating to Kensington Community School during the first week of August. To facilitate the move, our office will be closed from August 6 to 10, 2015, inclusively.
Our new address may be used immediately for all correspondence: TDSB Permit Unit,
c/o Kensington Community School,
401 College Street, 3/F,
Toronto, ON, M5T 1S9.
With our new office being accommodated within an operating elementary school, the routine security measures adopted in all TDSB schools must be observed. All visitors must sign in at the school office. You are encouraged to use email, fax, or post mail as much as possible to send correspondence to us. If there is any need to meet with a staff member, appointments must be made in advance. Please note that parking is not available at this new site.
Thank you for your patience and we look forward to continuing to serve all of our clients from our new location
TDSB facilities are a vibrant part of the community that welcome hundreds of organizations and agencies into our classrooms, gyms and other spaces throughout the year when they are not being used for school activities. Permits are approved depending on the availability of space and resources and are issued on a first come, first served basis. Fees are charged according to an established schedule.
