The TDSB Facility Permitting Unit will continue to be fully
operational in the event of a work-to-rule or strike action by TDSB school
teachers. All approved permits for the use of TDSB school facilities by
community groups will continue. If the action taken is a work-to-rule,
the permits for Before and After School programs will continue
unaffected. However, we ask that you check directly with your service
provider and the school to ensure your specific program and location is
running. In the event of a strike necessitating the cancellation of TDSB
classes, the Before and After School permits will be cancelled too.

TDSB facilities are a vibrant part of the community that welcome hundreds of organizations and agencies into our classrooms, gyms and other spaces throughout the year when they are not being used for school activities. Permits are approved depending on the availability of space and resources and are issued on a first come, first served basis. Fees are charged according to an established schedule.
