The TDSB has recently issued a By-Laws template for School Councils, comprising a mixture of mandatory and optional sections. Whether you are a School Council wondering how to merge previous By-Laws with the new document, or a School Council that has never had By-Laws, this is a necessary workshop for you. A survey of the document, especially new sections, will be followed by time to share your questions and find workable solutions. This template will ensure that all Schools Councils are built on the same foundation, able to support student achievement and parents/caregivers in our diverse communities. |
