The TDSB, in collaboration with OISE's Sustainability & Climate Action Network (SCAN), hosts many diverse professional learning events to support climate change education and environmental learning.

The EcoSchools team, along with colleagues at OISE’s Environmental and Sustainability Education Initiative, have created a series of FREE webinars to support environmental learning virtually. A wide range of environmentally themed topics are explored.

Teaching & Leading Climate Change Education in the TDSB

Wednesday, May 22nd 4-5pm ET

Teachers have critical roles to play in adapting to and mitigating the climate crisis - education is key to support young people who will become agents of change in these unprecedented times. This webinar shares the innovative work of TDSB teachers and students who are finding creative ways to teach about and lead climate change education in their classrooms, schools and communities. Teachers from the TDSB Climate Literacy & Leadership team and the Action Research Team will share their inspirational projects from the year.
