Waste Not Want Not

Tuesday, February 24, 2026 4-5pm ET

With Ontario’s new recycling program expanding what can go in the blue bin, it’s more important than ever to remember that the most impactful environmental action remains reducing waste before it reaches the bin. Join the TDSB EcoSchools team for this engaging webinar, co-presented with the U of T Trash Team, One Piece a Day, and Don’t Mess With the Don, to build waste literacy and refocus on the top of the 6Rs hierarchy. Learn how reducing and rethinking consumption can have the greatest impact—and how to bring these conversations into your classroom and school community.

Please register in advance. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
