EQAO Results Over Time, Percentage of Fully Participating First-Time Eligible (FTE) and Previously Eligible (PE) Students Who Were Successful on the OSSLT: Board and Province
The percentage of fully participating TDSB students who were successful on the OSSLT in 2025-26 is:
- The same for First Time Eligible (FTE) students as the 2024-25 TDSB results (84.7% compared to 84.7%), and 0.9 percentage points lower than the 2025-26 Provincial results (84.7% compared to 85.6%)
- 0.8 percentage points higher for Previously Eligible (PE) students than the 2024-25 TDSB results (48.5% compared to 47.7%), and slightly lower than the 2025-26 Provincial results (48.5% compared to 48.9%)
The TDSB's Literacy Strategy 2024-2028 will ensure that all students achieve high levels of literacy regardless of their background or social identity. A focus will be placed on providing specific oral language, reading and writing instruction and learning experiences that cultivate a sense of joy, engagement and belonging.
