The Research and Development (R&D) Department coordinates the External Research Review Committee for the TDSB which reviews ethical considerations of requests from external individuals and/or organizations applying to conduct research in TDSB schools. This review process ensures that proper procedures and guidelines are followed in conducting research within the TDSB.
The R&D department also partners with academic institutions, government and non-government agencies to collaboratively build and share knowledge and research expertise to support students, staff, and families in the TDSB community.
