EarlyON Child and Family Centres

We are expanding our in-person programming hours!

We are excited to announce that beginning Monday March 28, 2022 our programs will return exclusively to in-person programming. To that end, we will no longer be offering virtual programming after March 25, 2022.

Expanding our in-person programming will provide greater access to our programs and more opportunities for families to participate in-person.

Please see the attached schedule for new program hours. Participants may join us on a drop-in basis.

Pre-registration and proof of vaccination are no longer required.

Masks are strongly encouraged but not mandatory except in the following circumstances:

  • For days 6-10 after a self-isolation period of five days after a COVD-19 diagnosis. Learn more.
  • If you are identified as a close contact of someone with COVID-19. Learn more.
  • In public spaces, including schools and childcares, for the first 14 days following travel outside Canada. Learn more.

Please note that pre-screening using the new screening tool is required.

We look forward to welcoming you back!!

EarlyON Child and Family Centres offer free programs for parents and caregivers with children from birth to age six.  The centres provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating program where children can play and parents can connect.  Activities that encourage children’s exploration, play and inquiry are incorporated into the programming, supported by How Does Learning Happen? Ontario’s Pedagogy for the Early Years.

These centres provide opportunities for:

  • Engaging Parents and Caregivers. Discuss and share information about child development and parenting
  • Establishing School Connections. Build positive relationships with your local school.
  • Supporting Early Learning and Development. Participate in an intentional, planned program that focuses on children’s social and cognitive development, health and well- being
  • Making Connections for Families. Establish connections with local resources and community agencies, including appropriate referrals for special needs.
