On Tuesday, November 5th, I appeared in front of North York Community Council to give a deputation on behalf of residents in Don Valley West, regarding the Laird in Focus Planning Study. The concerns I spoke to during the deputation are summarized in the following letter, which was also shared with the NYCC Senior Planner, Diane Silver and all Toronto City Councillors.

Below is the letter from the Toronto Lands Corporation (TLC), TDSB’s real estate subsidiary, to the city commenting on the proposed Laird in Focus SASP. At this time, city planners have not incorporated suggestions made by TLC into their draft plan for the Laird in Focus SASP.
