The Action Research Team was created to develop leadership capacity in TDSB teachers who have been dedicated to continuing their learning in EE over the long term. The team was started by inviting those who have completed their Specialist Qualification in Environmental Education, or who had already begun research projects in their classrooms in this field.

The goal of this team is to enhance knowledge of environmental education, cultivate new professional networks and develop capacity to mentor colleagues. In collaboration with OISE/ University of Toronto, TDSB EcoSchool educators lead Action Research projects in their own classrooms.
