Dear Parents/Guardians and Students:

Welcome to TDSB Connects, an update on news and events from across the Toronto District School Board.

Daily Screening – Don’t forget to do your daily COVID-19 screening tool for children, students and adults every day before coming to school. You no longer need to verify it at school, but please remember to do it and help keep our schools healthy.

Health and Safety Measures – As we move to a more sustainable, long-term approach to managing COVID-19, you are encouraged to continue with the layers of protection that make you feel comfortable. Please remember to show respect for others and their individual choices based on their own assessment of risk. Learn more about protocols and practices in place, including the continuation of sending COVID-19 notification letters home.

Student Learning Strategy – Hate and racism in any form has no place in schools and workplaces and we are committed to interrupting and confronting racism, discrimination and hate, in all of its forms when we see or hear it. Learn more about our proactive, student-centred approach to creating respectful and culturally-safe learning environments for all students through our Student Learning Strategy for Combatting Hate and Racism.

Addressing School Safety – The TDSB is committed to safe schools that are caring, safe, welcoming and respectful. Learn more about what we have done and how we can continue to improve.
