TDSB Short-Term Cultural Immersion Program

🌎 Program Overview

The Toronto District School Board (TDSB) welcomes international students for a short-term, full-immersion educational experience in authentic Canadian classrooms.
Students join TDSB schools, make new friends, enhance their English, and explore Toronto’s vibrant culture and community.

  • Duration: 4 – 16 weeks
     
  • Start Dates: Anytime during the school year, except September, December, and June
     
  • Ages: 10 – 17 years (Students under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or chaperone)
     
  • Integration: Full classroom participation with TDSB students

Individual Program

Program Fees

Tuition: $1,700/month

Application Fee: $400 (one-time, non-refundable)

Emergency Medical Insurance
Enrollment in the TDSB Emergency Medical Insurance Plan is mandatory for all international students and is not included in the tuition fee.

  • $50 CAD per 4-week period (1 month)
  • $250 CAD for programs of 12 weeks or longer

The insurance premium is non-refundable once the student has completed the reporting process with the International Students and Admissions Office.

Full Term Fee applied for 16 weeks or longer: $8,500 (flat rate)
Applies automatically to any enrolment of 16 weeks or more.

Homestay Placement: Optional, externally arranged at an additional cost.

All fees are quoted in Canadian dollars (CAD).
