International Student Support Services

The Toronto District School Board (TDSB) is committed to fostering the success and well-being of every international student by offering a comprehensive network of school-based and central services.

·       School transfers

·       Prior learning credit assessments

·       Enrollment renewal

·       Academic success

·       Postsecondary pathways

The GCIS team also maintains regular communication with parents, custodians, host families, medical insurance providers , and ISAO leadership, ensuring a coordinated approach to each student’s unique needs.

To further enrich the international student experience, the GCIS team helps develop and lead a range of specialized programs and events, including:

·       Orientation programs for new international students and their custodians/legal guardians

·       University/College campus tours and events

·       Field trips to TDSB Outdoor Education Centres
