The TDSB has two assessment centres: West End TDSB Assessment Centre and Georges Vanier TDSB Assessment Centre. Please see below for information about location and hours.
The TDSB Assessment Centres’ guiding principle is to honour the voices and choices of students and families. Our goal is to enable students to achieve their highest potential throughout their academic journey. Staff work with students to assess their English and mathematics skills based on the Ontario curriculum. Our assessments give a snapshot of the current skills of a student in relation to Ontario math and English curricula. Reports are shared with students, their parents/guardians and with their schools. The observations from English and math assessments help guide students, families and their schools in course selections and learning opportunities.
Note: Students must first register with their local schools. For more information on how to find and register students, click here.
Once students have registered at their local schools, they will be referred to the closest TSAC who will arrange an assessment appointment. Parents/guardians should check their email or voicemail used to register with their local school regarding the date and time for their appointment.
