Special Education and Inclusion is pleased to offer a variety of drop-in and topic-specific sessions for parents and caregivers throughout the 2025-2026 school year. These sessions provide valuable information, resources, and support to help families navigate special education programs and services.

Helping Your Child Navigate Everyday and Big School Changes (March 26, 2026)
This session will help parents and caregivers understand how everyday changes (“little t”) and bigger school changes (“Big T”) can affect their child’s learning and well-being. We’ll share simple, practical ways schools support transitions and how families can help children feel more confident and prepared at home and at school. Please register here.

Preparing for High School Changes and Beyond (April 28, 2026)
This session will focus on how daily and major transitions affect teens as they move through high school and prepare for life after graduation. Parents and caregivers will learn how transition planning supports learning, independence, and future goals, and how they can support their child through important school and life changes.
