International Languages in High School

Secondary International Languages Night School Program

Did you know a language credit (other than French and English) can count as a compulsory credit?

Did you know you can earn one International Languages credit toward your high school diploma by attending night school one night per week?

Most language classes are one night per week for the full year from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. from October 2012 to June 2013 and are available to students who have not completed diploma requirements.

Check the brochure information for those languages also offered in semesters.

What you need to do:

  • Check the night school brochure at www.creditprograms.ca at the end of August 2012 to verify the location, nights and languages offered.
  • Go to the Guidance Counsellor at your school between September 4 to September 19, 2012 for a night school registration form.
  • Bring the form home to your parents to sign.
  • Return the form to your TDSB Guidance Counsellor by the deadline on September 19, 2012. You cannot register after the deadline.
  • Students outside of TDSB deliver forms to Continuing Education, 2 Trethewey Drive, 3rd floor by the deadline.

Information about locations and languages offered will be available in Spring 2012.
