2013 TEACHER RECRUITMENT PROCESS - Elementary Contract and Occasional Teacher Applicants
Applications are welcomed at all times. THERE IS NO DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS. Applicants are advised to apply in the months of January & February in order to be considered for early scheduling of interviews.
ALL APPLICANTS MUST APPLY ONLINE AS A "NEW USER" and provide the necessary documents outlined on the checklist. ONLY ONE APPLICATION IS REQUIRED per applicant for each calendar year. All completed applications will remain active in the Elementary and Secondary Teaching Offices for the period of one year.
Only completed application packages will be considered. Applications are not accepted by FAX.
The following documents are required as part of a complete application package. A completed application includes:
* Faculty of Education students must provide a copy of certification upon graduation. Please contact the Ontario College of Teachers, 101 Bloor Street West, Toronto, Ontario M5S 0A1, 416-961-8800, if further information is required regarding certification.
All documents can be uploaded and submitted through our website. ONLY DOCUMENTS IN PDF OR RICH TEXT FORMAT CAN BE UPLOADED. If you are unable to upload your supporting documents (Certificate of Qualification, practice teaching or teacher evaluation reports and reference letters) please mail them to:

Note about the online application form: The form will expire within 48 hours if it has not been submitted. Once submitted, you can make changes to the application if you wish (you will need your applicant ID number and password).
