Events & Community Engagement

Community engagement is at the heart of the Centre of Excellence for Black Student Achievement’s mission to advance equity and dismantle anti-Black racism in education. Meaningful collaboration with families, communities, and partner organizations is essential to fostering systemic change and improving outcomes for Black students. The Centre is committed to actively listening to and amplifying the voices of Black communities advocating for educational transformation. Through strategic partnerships, ongoing initiatives, and community-driven programming, the Centre ensures that Black communities play a central role in shaping policies and practices. Additionally, a variety of events throughout the year create spaces for dialogue, connection, and collective action in support of Black student success.
