School History
The original building on the school site which fronted on St Clair Ave East was built in 1888. Additions were erected in 1904 and 1913.
The site was enlarged in 1959 by the acquisition of properties on Ferndale Ave where the new building is currently located. Building operations commenced January 7, 1960.
The new school was formally opened on October 20, 1961. The old school building which formally fronted on St Clair Ave East was demolished in 1961.
