Health & Safety Issue Observed	Asbestos Management Program (AMP) Binder
Health & Safety Issue Details	The TDSB AMP requires both the Head Caretaker and the Principal (the latter of whom is the legal Site Supervisor under the Occupational Health and Safety Act) to maintain an accurate and updated Asbestos Binder. The Principal's Binder is not up to date, as evidenced by the Records of Acknowledgement tab, which has not seen an entry made in almost a decade. Therefore, the Principal's ability to fulfill their duties under the law with respect to asbestos, a Designated Substance and known carcinogen, are impaired, especially in the case of private subcontractors who may be working onsite and who are not briefed on the AMP. AMP training is recommended for the Site Supervisor, if it has not already been taken.
