Stilecroft Public School

At Stilecroft, We Work, Lead, Learn and Achieve in Style!

Stilecroft Public School is located in the Grandravine community, west of Keele Street between Sheppard and Finch Avenues. The school opened in 1962 with 160 students, and an addition was built in 1969 to accommodate population growth. Today, Stilecroft serves 240 students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, representing nearly 15 language groups, almost half of whom speak a language other than English. Stilecroft is a vibrant composite school that provides a welcoming, inclusive and supportive learning environment for learners from 18 months of age through adulthood. The school is home to several specialized programs that support students with developmental disabilities and other learning exceptionalities.

We offer learning opportunities that provide students with pathways to future success. Guided by our belief that all children can learn, we offer enriching experiences through the Orff Music Program, Gr. 4/5 Band, Hammer Band Strings, Visiting Artists, Scientists in School, field trips and other learning opportunities. Our strong athletics and leadership programs include sports teams, Student Council, P.A.L.S., Safety Patrollers and Jays Care programming. We offer the Empower Reading Program to students who benefit from targeted literacy support. Our adapted Toronto Foundation for Student Success Morning Meal Program provides nutritious food to all students from Kindergarten to Grade 5. Together, these programs foster belonging.
