TDSB staff make our schools and workplaces strong, caring, and inspiring places to learn and work. Every year, the TDSB Excellence Awards provide an opportunity to recognize the individuals and teams whose work reflects the very best of public education.
In response to community feedback, the Excellence Awards have been refreshed for 2026. The award categories are now clearer and more role based, making it easier to identify outstanding colleagues across the system. The nomination process has also been streamlined to be faster and more intuitive, while still capturing the impact of nominees’ work.
We are grateful to everyone who has taken the time to submit nominations in the past. Your stories help shine a light on the dedication, professionalism, and care that staff bring to their roles every day. We encourage both returning and first time nominators to participate this year.
Nominations will open in early February. Staff, students, parents and caregivers, and community members are all welcome to submit a nomination.
