Where to Start

If your question or concern is about your child’s education or school and you have not yet connected with the teacher or principal, we encourage you to take this step before contacting the Student and Family Support Office. More information can be found in our Parent Concern Protocol. 

Often the most effective way to address a concern is through direct communication with your child’s school. You can find contact information for your principal or superintendent here by selecting your school.  

Getting More Help

Support Office staff can help connect you with the superintendent for your school to assist with matters that may need to be escalated. They can also help to direct your question to an appropriate department, where support is available for things like student mental health and well-being, special education, school registration or facilities-related questions. 

If your concerns haven't been addressed through the school or if you don't believe this is the appropriate route, please contact the Student and Family Support Office: [email protected] or call 416-397-3100. 

When emailing and phoning, please provide as much information (student name, school name, detailed description) as possible, so we can best address your question or concern.

Matters Handled Through Other Channels 

If your matter relates to administrative or operational matters (like employment or updating your contact information in PowerSchool), these are not handled directly by the Student & Family Support Office.
