Insignia Login

Please select the appropriate login method for the type of work you are doing within Insignia.

Teacher Librarian: Library System Login
Insignia Login for Circulation and Catalogue Stations
Use this link to login to Insignia for Library Circulation using Self Checkout(SC) and Circulation Assistant(CA) Insignia accounts.
During general circulation use these accounts and ensure that the library circulation station is accessed with a GL (generic library) login.

Teacher Librarian: Library System Login
Insignia Administration Login for Reports, QuickCat and Management (Teacher-Librarian Access Only)
Teacher-Librarians with Insignia training (part 1 and 2) can access their Insignia Administration account to manage overdues, create reports and Quickcat.
Access to this account requires login using your TDSB credentials. Do not use this account for open circulation where other users may have access as doing so compromises the security of data including personal information. Ensure the security of this account by always logging out of the Insignia Administration account. Do not share your TDSB credentials with teachers, volunteers or others.

Quickcat Guest Account (available mid-late September)

In schools where trained supply teachers may support cataloguing activities, a Guest Quickcat account may be requested from the Library Help Desk by the teacher-librarian so that the Quickcat module can be accessed separately from the other Insignia Administration features.

See the Logging On to the Insignia System Flashcard for detailed information and instructions.

For support with the Insignia Library System, new users or questions about access, please contact the Library Help Desk at 416-395-8285 or library@tdsb.on.ca or see the Library Technical Services Home Page
