Increasing the TDSB’s transparency and accountability to the public

The adoption and implementation of TDSB’s Open Data policy ensures that the TDSB is transparent in providing useful information to the public via our website. Please review our Open Data Policy for information on the kind and range of data available under the policy. When considering whether to post data, we ensure that posting the data does not breach any legal or privacy issues. For example, data related to students cannot be used to identify any students, staff or other individuals.

The Research and Development (R&D) Department is a central source of information for the TDSB as well as community, academic, and government partners. The department is a leader in public education research and evaluation work locally, nationally, and internationally.
