The Toronto District School Board is pleased to announce this year's TDSB Top Scholars! The following seven Grade 12 students attained averages of 99% or above during the 2018-2019 academic year.

Saranya Jeyakanthan - Victoria Park CI

In a panel hosted at TDSB head office on July 25, 2019, these Top Scholars shared their many hobbies, interests, and pursuits including captaining the school’s badminton team, starting a “Best Buddies” student club to combat the negative stigma surrounding student bullying and volunteering at the Scarborough Health Network. 

Each student has their own interesting perspectives on how they received their top marks and advice for younger students entering high school.  And this year, all four of our TDSB Top Scholars have something in common. They are going to different post-secondary institutions in September but are all pursuing the same thing – Engineering.
