Card

Cards are button links that can point to other pages or documents found on TDSB's website. Cards provide a space for a picture, a main link title and an optional area to include a short description of the content you are linking to.

When to Use this Module

Cards provide an alternative way to link users to other parts of our website. You can use them to point to major subareas of your website, making them ideal for landing or home pages.

Since Cards provide multiple places for descriptive context, it is recommended to use this module when you're linking to an area that may require additional explanation prior to the user arriving there.

How to Use this Module

  1. Add a New Card Module
    Place the module on the page where you'd like your card to appear.
  2. Fill in Required Fields
    • Title (required): This appears at the top of the card.
    • Link (required): Clicking the card will take users to this link.
  3. Add an Image (Optional)
    You may include an image to support your message, but it's not required. If you don't use an image, a solid block of colour will be used instead.
  4. Use the "Up" or "Down" buttons to reorder existing cards

Performance Tip

If the image loads slowly, it may be too large. Try resizing the image to a smaller file size before uploading.
