Étienne Brûlé Junior School (GR. JK-05)

Etienne Brule JPS is a small community school located at Parklawn and Berry Road.  Our school was built in 1957 and named after the French explorer Etienne Brule, who was the first European explorer to reach the mouth of the Humber River and set foot in the vicinity now known as Toronto.  Etienne Brule serves approximately 150 students, representing almost 40 different language groups. Humber Bay Child Care is housed in the school building.
Our mission is to promote the attitudes, skills, and knowledge necessary to live in a global society; while enhancing our focus on literacy, numeracy, and the arts in a safe and welcoming environment for our learners, staff and community.  Our school motto is "Be The Best That You Can Be".
