After more than a decade of planning and three years of construction and transformation, Hodgson Middle School has officially reopened its doors.
Students, families, staff and community members gathered to celebrate this exciting milestone, marked by a special ribbon-cutting ceremony and an opportunity to see the renewed school firsthand.
The Hodgson Middle School renewal project began in November 2016, when capital funding was approved for a new 12-classroom addition to serve 276 students. In 2019, the project was expanded to include a larger addition and renovation scope, resulting in a three-storey addition and a total of 21 new and renovated classrooms.
The completed project represents years of planning, collaboration and commitment to creating a renewed learning environment for Hodgson students and the broader school community.
