Our secondary students represented Ontario at the Skills Canada National Competitions, held from May 26 to 30, at the Enercare Centre in Toronto.
This multi-day, national-level event brings together skilled students from across the country to compete in a range of technical and skilled trades challenges. Participants are required to complete complex, real-world tasks independently, without the ability to consult teachers or mentors during competition time. Students must apply their training, problem-solving skills, and technical knowledge to complete assigned projects under pressure, while maintaining safety, professionalism, and attention to detail.
We extend our congratulations to all students who participated, as well as to the educators who supported their preparation and development leading up to the competition.
