Emily Carr Public School (GR. JK-08)

Building successful futures for all students.
Emily Carr Public School is a Kindergarten to Grade 8 dual track school.  The school serves approximately 400 students representing a diverse population.  We offer an Extended French Program for students in Grade 4 to Grade 8. We also serve special needs children through the special education programs in the school.

Our goal is to develop a well-rounded, self-disciplined child with a positive sense of self-worth. We foster an atmosphere that values respect, achieving excellence, personal initiative, co-operation, and effort. We believe that the positive, safe, and caring climate at Emily Carr enhances the full academic, social, and emotional development of every child, as does building partnerships between the school, home and community.
