Toronto District School Board

The Toronto District School Board and Toronto Catholic District School Board are experiencing school bus delays. In particular, parents of students who use Attridge Transportation, Wheelchair Accessible Transit or Sharp Bus Lines should expect significant delays and the possibility that some buses may not be running due to an unanticipated bus driver shortage. We are working to fix this issue as soon as possible.

Pleasant Public School (GR. JK-06)

Pleasant Public School is situated on Pleasant Avenue south of Steeles Avenue between Yonge and Bathurst Streets. This building shares space with the Peckham Teachers' Centre, Special Events and Media Productions, and Administration Offices.

  • The school has an enrolment of approximately 450 students representing approximately 21 language groups. More than two thirds of our students have a primary language other than English.
  • As well as regular school programs, we host two special programs which draw children from other schools --  an Extended French program for grades 4, 5, and 6 and a Junior Behavioural program. A daycare centre is housed in the school and we also host a  Parenting and Family Literacy Centre.
