Toronto District School Board

The Toronto District School Board and Toronto Catholic District School Board are experiencing school bus delays. In particular, parents of students who use Attridge Transportation, Wheelchair Accessible Transit or Sharp Bus Lines should expect significant delays and the possibility that some buses may not be running due to an unanticipated bus driver shortage. We are working to fix this issue as soon as possible.

Letter to Parents/Guardians of Students Affected by School Bus Disruptions
The electrical issue that left the school without power for much of the day has been repaired. Power was restored before dismissal. The outage had minimal impact and classes continued as usual throughout the day. For more information, please read the parent letter that was sent home with students.

Parkside Elementary School (GR. JK-05)

The Little School By The Park:
Built in 1953, Parkside Elementary School is located on Cedarvale Avenue, tucked away from busy streets and bordering a public park. Our name comes from our location on the edge of Taylor Creek Park which gives our school a quiet, tree-lined setting in the middle of the city - an ideal setting for learning and play!  We offer full-day junior/senior Kindergarten through Grade 5 regular and special education programs. The Parkside Early Learning and Child Care Centre (operated by the City of Toronto) is located in the school, offering programs to children 2 1/2 to 9 years of age.  Co-curricular support enhances learning and builds strong links with home and the community. Together we succeed!
