Ontario Works Training Programs

The Ontario Works programs provide training to people who are on social assistance. Courses offer both an in-class component and a hands-on work experience period through a job placement. Participants also learn valuable job search skills.

Programs Offered


  • Ontario Works clients
  • 18 years of age or older at the time of registration
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Be willing and able to work and complete the program
  • Have a referral form from a TESS Case Worker or Ontario Works Liaison Worker 
  • Grade 10 minimum


To register, please contact our office to set up an appointment for the Canadian Adult Achievement Test (CAAT) to assess your skills in English and math.

Parking: There is no parking for students at The Bickford Centre, 777 Bloor Street West, however, street parking is available along Montrose Avenue and Bloor Street.
