The Centre of Excellence for Black Student Achievement in collaboration with the Early Years Department welcomes Black families and families raising Black children to Webinar Wednesday: Families as First Teachers - Nurturing Early Literacy Strategies. This virtual session will explore the continuum of early literacy behaviours K-3 including the foundational pillars of literacy development. Learn about practical examples of classroom practices, and strategies to nurture literacy exploration and play at home.
