Congratulations to the Northview Heights SS First Tech Challenge (FTC) robotics team for finishing their regular season with a gold medal at their second competition in Mississauga on Saturday, December 9, 2023.
The robotics team designed, tested and built two competitive robots to compete in the 2023-2024 FTC season. These robots were required to work in cooperation with another random team to form an alliance for each qualification match.
This season, the Northview Heights robotics team finished with one first place win, one second place win, and a Think Award. The Think Award is given to the team with the best overall engineering design process. Additionally, the Northview Heights team has qualified for the FTC Provincial Championship in Kingston, Ontario in February 2024.
