This fall, students from Stephen Leacock CI welcomed 12 students from Bogotá, Colombia who came for three weeks to experience education in Toronto. This was the school’s first visit to Toronto as they typically visit Lethbridge, Alberta. During their stay, the students visited many local landmarks, including the CN Tower and Niagara Falls, and spent time learning with and getting to know their newfound Stephen Leacock CI friends.
The Stephen Leacock CI school community was very excited to be chosen for this special opportunity. “This wonderful group of students from Colombia had a blast at our small school, so much so that they said that they’d love to come back next year to study full time with us,” said Laura Galati, Assistant Curriculum Leader, Stephen Leacock CI.
The Stephen Leacock CI school community is looking forward to continuing to grow this special relationship with the students from Colombia.
