On January 6, students from Sir Oliver Mowat Collegiate Institute visited the Altamont Care Community to share the gift of music through carolling and vocal performances.
Originally planned for December, the visit was postponed, but the spirit of the season was very much alive. Residents and staff warmly welcomed the students, with many residents singing along and swaying to the music, clearly enjoying the performance despite the holidays having passed.
The songs were enthusiastically received, creating a joyful and meaningful experience for everyone involved. Many kudos to teacher Dr. Leong for conducting the vocal students and helping make this special intergenerational connection possible.
