Becoming a great parent involves establishing leadership in the home, but it needs to be based on collaboration. We need to give our children choices that are age appropriate, and let them experience the outcomes of those choices. Trustee Shaun Chen invites you to hear from parenting expert and author, Doone Estey, who will discuss ways to defuse power struggles, how praise can undermine self-esteem, and practical tips on parenting with long-term goals in mind.

A complimentary light dinner and child-minding are provided. If your require an interpreter, please contact Ximena Astudillo at (416) 397-3063 or ximena.astudillo@tdsb.on.ca
