Welcome to the 2021-22 school year. As the elected public school board trustee for our Ward 9 Davenport & Spadina-Fort York communities, my role is to represent the needs of all students and parents/caregivers in the Toronto District School Board and to help advocate for you and your child within our school system.
As we re-open our schools, the TDSB is doing everything possible to ensure the physical health and safety of all school community members, while also providing the best learning experience possible for students, supporting mental health and well-being, and considering the needs of families and staff. We will continue to take our direction from Toronto Public Health and the Ministry of Education.
I want to thank you in advance for your understanding, patience, and partnership as we work to overcome any challenges that may arise due to the on-going pandemic. For the most up to date information on mental health and well-being resources, health and safety measures, our pandemic recovery plan and so much more, please refer to www.tdsb.on.ca/school-year-2021-22. As we embark on this next school year, let’s continue to invest in the relationships we maintain in our school communities. I have been so grateful for the inspiring leadership of parents, students, and staff in our schools throughout this pandemic. I look forward to continuing to work in partnership with leaders in your school community and, as always, with you to support your family and your school. Thank you for supporting public education and all that you and your family do to help your public school thrive.
Stay safe and well,
