Google Translate Limitations Disclaimer

The electronic translation service on the Toronto District School Board website is hosted by Google Translate, a third party service. The TDSB does not guarantee or warrant the reliability, accuracy or completeness of any translated information.

The quality of the translation will vary in some of the languages offered by Google. Google Translate is a free service and currently offers translation in over 100 languages, but does not capture all languages or dialects.

The basic translation goal is to capture the general intention of the original English material. Before you act on translated information, we encourage you to confirm any facts that are important to you or may affect any decisions you make.

The Toronto District School Board is committed to equity and community engagement, and by providing this tool, we are making our information more accessible to families whose first language is not English.

TDSB Celebrates Educational Programming Partners

The TDSB celebrated nearly 80 new and renewed educational programming partnerships at its annual recognition event on May 11.

A diverse range of partners attended, including authors, illustrators, filmmakers, accountants, entrepreneurs, lawyers, environmentalists and facilitators.

Educational Partners allow the TDSB to provide exciting, unique, dynamic and innovative programming to our students. Partnerships are a great way for students to explore new and exciting topics inside the classroom and engage in a new way.

Educational Partners come from a variety of different organizations and offer programming or services during instructional time. Students may hear about what it takes to build a subway, from or learn about writing and illustrating filmmaking,  or learn about become more aware of internet safety. Each of our partners bring a new dimension to our student learning.

Each year, the TDSB received hundreds of proposals from potential partners offering programming and services for our schools. They are vetted and currently, 400 organizations have been accepted to work in schools during instructional time. See the whole list of educational programming partners.
